Kennesaw State University Announces Events

 

KSU will host its annual Summer Music Intensive the week of June 1-5, 2015. During this five-day non-resident camp, students have the opportunity to experience a taste of what it is like to be a music major. Large ensemble rehearsal, chamber music ensembles, daily coaching from KSU music faculty, recitals, special topic mini-courses, and lunch at the award winning dining facility, “The Commons”, are all included in registration. Wind Auditions for the Kennesaw State University Marching Band, “The Marching Owls”, will occur during band camp from August 10-16, 2015. Wind players can register for auditions beginning on July 1st, 2015 by visiting www.marchingowls.com. Please email Dr. Debra Traficante, KSU Associate Director of Bands and Director of Athletic Bands, at dtrafica@kennesaw.edu for specific questions about "The Marching Owls." 

 

Lastly, please take note of the band outreach events for the 2015-2016 school year: Brass Blast - April 16, 2016, and Clarinet Day - April 23, 2016.
